Everything is free for 7 days from the first launch of this version. After that, recording, dictation, transcription and Ask need a licence key; everything already recorded stays readable and exportable.

A second local engine: English plus 25 European languages and Japanese, around 180× faster than real time, with nothing to optimize after the download. Recommended by default on English-first Macs; Hindi and Hinglish stay with the Apex model.
A new version shows in the sidebar and the menu bar with an Install button, and once as a popup.
fn+Tab as a shortcut no longer hijacks the plain Tab key system-wide.
Questions, answered
Is anything uploaded to the cloud?
No. Recording, transcription, summaries, and chat all run on your Mac using Apple Intelligence and Whisper on the Neural Engine. Your recordings and transcripts live in a local database on your disk. MemoFlow needs no account and works fully offline.
Does it work with Zoom, Google Meet, and Teams?
Yes — with any meeting app. MemoFlow captures your microphone and your Mac's system audio, so it hears both sides of any call, labels who said what (You vs. Others), and needs no bots or calendar integrations.
Does it really support Hindi and Hinglish?
Yes. MemoFlow runs Whisper large-v3 turbo on-device, transcribing Hindi in Devanagari and handling Hinglish code-switching — English words mixed into Hindi sentences come out naturally. Auto-detection picks the right language per meeting.
How is this different from Otter, Fireflies, or Granola?
Those services process your meetings on their servers. MemoFlow processes everything on your Mac — nothing is uploaded, so nothing can leak, be subpoenaed from a third party, or become training data. It's also the only one with local Hindi and Hinglish support.
What does dictation do?
Hold a hotkey in any app, speak, and release — clean text is typed into whatever field has focus. MemoFlow removes filler words, fixes punctuation, and applies your self-corrections: say “at 6 o'clock — no, at 7” and it types “at 7 o'clock.” Works in English, Hindi, and Hinglish.
